Garlic Parmesan Sauce

Ingredients
- 1/4 (60ml) cup butter
- 5 minced garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp flour OR 1/3 tsp xantham gum
- 1 cup (280ml) beef stock
- 1 tsp basil
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1/2 cup (120ml) double cream
- 1/2 cup (42g) grated parmesan
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
Method
- Melt butter in pan over medium heat, ensure it doesn't brown
- Add garlic and cook softly until fragrant for about 2 minutes
- Whisk in thickening agent (flour or xanthan gum)
- Gradually whisk in stock and dried seasonings, cook for a minute to
incorporate
- Pour in cream, parmesan and cream cheese and cook until it thickens a bit
- Season with salt and pepper to taste
